about Vimar Contractors
Established in 1993 by Engineer Marcos Cauduro and his father, the renowned Architect Victor Cauduro, VIMAR Contractors is a family-owned business located in Los Cabos. Following the loss of Victor, Marcos took on the leadership of the company and later mentored his two daughters, Construction Manager Ximena Cauduro and Architect Paulina Cauduro, who now continue the legacy as leaders of the organization.
The name VIMAR originated by combining both names, Victor and Marcos. Additionally, the name was chosen because they wanted it to represent the sea by including the word "MAR," which means sea in Spanish. This decision was influenced by the fact that a significant portion of the projects they have created are inspired by the ocean and the beautiful surroundings of La Baja.
VIMAR Contractors takes pride in striking a perfect balance between traditional expertise and fresh, innovative ideas. This combination allows the company to approach each project with a holistic perspective, ensuring meticulous attention to detail while incorporating contemporary concepts.
